      Thanks for the info, I have a few of these and this is the only one showing signed of growing. Not sure why the others arn't doing anything :sad: will have a read up now I know what it is :blue thumb:

      Good Afternoon @wiseowl, may I ask what the flower in the 2nd photo is? I think I have one of these, I saw it the other day and actually thought weed or flower, so thought I'd let it open first to enable me to identify it. :)

          I have tried, and failed, to grow Abutilon in my garden, longk, but that one looks great!!:snork:

            It's about fifteen years old now. The biggest problem is that Abutilons are rather shallow rooted and so it has been staked now. It was damn near pulled out of the ground by strong winds once but it just bounces back (metaphorically speaking).

                      Some of our weigelias are flowering now. They vary in leaf colour, some have green leaves and others have a range of variegation in light green and gold, and in flower colour. The very pale pink varieties have not quite flowered yet.

                      Some of our plants have been there a long time and grown to 7ft high and 5ft wide but can be kept pruned to the size you want.
