But if Shiney does that Anthony he'll be stuck with a ruin eventually and won't be able to touch it because of their strict regulations. :heehee:

Quote to repair it... £3,500 :yikes:
Quote to replace it... £4,500, plus accessories  :thud:

Although the electrics are legal I'm not sure it would be legal to re-fit them in a new greenhouse. The powerboard is under the bench at the back and has 4 x 13 Amp sockets.

That's a lot of pennies to be spent! It would probably make more sense to replace it Shiney?

It would, but it would be too traumatic. All the plants would have to come out of the greenhouse - a job that I could probably do in half a day 39 years ago but would take my days to do nowadays. Ooohh, my back!! :heehee: Then there would be the danger of trying to take it apart without it collapsing, and then disposing of everything.

The propagator would have to be taken apart and it holds over a quarter of a ton of sand and gravel. The electrics, run on a catenary cable, would have to be disconnected and then refitted to the new one. and the new one would have to be erected (specialist fitters), benching and shelving put up and then all the plants put back.

Some of those plants have been in there for the 39 years :hate-shocked:

Speaking of Aquilegias @shiney those seeds you sent me a couple of years ago seem to have suddenly sprung into life, having done nothing thus far :blue thumb:
