@roders They certainly put on a good light show.

Did you know that they're going to chop down the mature Jacquemontii grove as soon as the new grove the other side of the hedge has grown a bit more. It looks good lit up. :blue thumb:

A few things are in flower at the moment, some early such as the Hellebore and Daphne:

Wallflower 'Winter orchid' has been flowering most of the summer too:

And a few as expected Fatsia japonica:

This looks like dogwood but is Persicaria microcephala 'Red Dragon' defoliated in the cold:

        Zantedeschia calla lily ''Hercules':

You can't have had much of a frost yet @JWK if the stems of you Persecaria are still upright. My Red Dragon is a soggy mess post a couple of humdingers :). I lost my Daphne when I had to transplant it. It was a fair size, about 4ft in diameter and I knew the chances of it surviving the move were slim to zero. Ends up it was zero despite my very best efforts:frown:. Pity as it's perfume was gorgeous. It is so slow growing that I haven't had the heart to replace it but maybe your reminder of it might make me change my mind.
