          @Jenny namaste
          The colour is very good this year and the leaves have stayed on well despite the recent gales. Both of them are from seedlings I bought cheaply at Westonbirt.

            @Dips - all looking good :blue thumb: One thought occurred to me though: will your "trellis" be able to take the weight of the honeysuckle once it takes off? :noidea:

            @NigelJ - fab specimens of acer! :thumbsup: I'm looking at growing those at some point in the future and if I can be half as successful as you, I'll be a happy gardener :dbgrtmb:

              @M yeh they are fine the polypropylene twine is 2mm thick and is really strong and they are attached with galvanised staples so are solid in to the fence

              [IMG]

              That one has been on for two years now.

              I will be making more panels for the two trellises before so that it can spread out along them side ways as well. Just need to do it.

                        Spent some time between the showers taking the tender plants indoors, while doing that I took a few photos
                        Fuchsia swingtime still flowering outdoors

                        and a bushy one
                        IMG_4862.jpg

                        Ricinus is still standing high and mighty
                        IMG_4858.jpg

                        Callicarpa's berries are still staying put. I'm glad that the birds don't eat them, giving me plenty of time to enjoy their colour.

                        Schizostylis are doing really well this year. I've got 3 bunches of them all flowering like this in the back garden which cheer things up quite a lot.
