    It isn't properly out yet, but I fear a frost could kill it any day. This was a cutting that Victoria kindly sent me two years ago. It never flowered last year, so I am really pleased and excited to see it starting now.

    Some of my long flowering favorites that have been going for several months.

    [IMG]
    Phygelius rectus 'Cherry Ripe' or Cape Fuchsia - a bit borderline hardy.

    [IMG]
    Persicaria amplexicaulis 'Firetail' likes it damp - very hardy.

    [IMG]
    Penstemon - happy in dry soil, but hates winter wet - so borderline hardy due to the wet.

    [IMG]
    Fuchsia triphylla ' Koralle'. I think the triphylla group is the most spectacular of all the Fuchsias, because all of the flowers are so clearly visible. But not hardy.

    :) PeterS, I am SO pleased you finally got Leo to bloom for you .... well done. I have just cut mine back to 1/2 meter having finished flowering.

    Sis, I think that's a Canna not a Calla ... :cnfs::scratch: Lovely colour.

    My Tecomarias are always a treat this time of year ....

    And one of the Bougainvilleas is looking good ...

    Your Tecomarias really are gorgeous, Sis, the colour is shockingly beautiful, :gnthb:

    I have made that mistake before, getting the names mixed up, Calla instead of Canna. Probably won't be the last time either.

    Kedi - I love your Canna - I wish I could grow them here - they don't do well for me.

    Victoria - your Tecomaria is stunning. Sadly the seed you sent me a couple of years ago never did anything. Unfortunately tender climbers are a bit impractical here - you can't easily move them under glass in the winter.

    Now THAT is strange, Sis ... I've not seen one like that! Do you have more like that or is it a freak? :hehe:
