Thanks CosmosGuy :D, think its named because of the really dark foliage it has earlier in the season, tends to fade a bit this time of year though, prefer the chocolate idea much better :heehee:.

It's been a remarkably warm autumn here so far. This picture, taken today at work shows one of our summer hanging baskets, which are still going strong and looking lovely as we enter the fourth week of October!
It's a simple combination of two plants; Petunia surfinia Burgundy and Sanvitalia speciosa 'Sunbini'.

This is an excellent section , especially in October to find the late performing plants. Well done all posters :dbgrtmb:
I had a lovely planter I was going to post on here with an orange sunpatien and a coconut wave petunia , but the sunpatien decided to go extremely limp yesterday !

Grew two or three Sensitive plants from seed this year - one has started to flower !

A Sensitive Plant in a garden grew,
And the young winds fed it with silver dew,
And it opened its fan-like leaves to the light.
And closed them beneath the kisses of Night.

                          Shelley
