Still a fair few things in bloom here, although some of the foliage is looking decidedly second-hand.

Two different forms of T.hirta. I prefer the second one with smaller spots.................

    Salvias that are still doing their stuff include;
    Seed grown S.patens "Oxford Blue".......................

Salvia "Wendys Wish" is blooming well in the g/house and out in the bed too.................

    Salvia confertiflora from a cutting.....................

A cousin of the Salvia family - Plectranthus argentatus........................

Lobelia tupa continues to throw up more (admittedly smaller) spikes.................

Solanum rantonnetii (or as the taxonomists now call it, Lycianthes rantonnetii) has grown from a wee cutting to this mass of blooms.......................

Sollya heterophylla will bloom right up to the first frosts.....................

Bomarea hirtella is still producing lots of new blooms...................

      Aconitum carmichaelii "Arendsii".....................

      Still loving the Impatiens balfourii.......................

      And finally Fuchsia "Hawkshead".....................

I'll be doing some cuttings in the spring - remind me!

          A couple more.

Got a small division of T.hirta "Kohaku" which has struggled, but it has at least given me one flower......................

Shame as I really like this one!

Digitalis "Illumination Pink" is probably not in the best spot, but I want it to get through the winter and this was the best compromise.....................

          Impatiens niamniamensis and Salvia microphylla.....................

Longk......I'd like a cutting thank you. Will it survive in a sandy soil/coastal position please?

I know I've said it before but the garden is running out of colour. Although we still have lots of foliage that makes the garden interesting.

This is some of the last of the non-foliage.

One for a pot Sheal as it's tender. Cool greenhouse, shed or garage over the winter. My cutting came from one that had been trained as a standard which looked rather excellent despite my basic dislike of standards.

                Thanks GA!
Me too - I think that it's the simplicity of it as I truly dislike "fussy" or "fat" Fuchsias.

Your photos are amazing Longk, may I ask are many of your plants under cover as they look flaming perfect?!! not troubled by rain wind etc. My garden is now a mess after 24 odd hours of heavy rain...gloom descending! Roll on Spring and yes please to a repeat of this year's weather up here in the not so frozen North!

                    Thanks!

The only one that was under cover is the Salvia "Wendys Wish", but the one in the main bed is just as good, just harder to get a decent shot of! I have some tattered foliage, and that last Tricyrtis does not look good apart from the one bloom, and one of my Lobelia tupa and an Acanthus spike are far from upright.
