I actually divided the Pampas "Sunningdale Silver" last year to make room for other plants but it's seems to have recovered and provides the feathery plumes that the birds love to use for nesting in the Spring.

Beautiful pictures Strongy/Armandii. :dbgrtmb: My gardens are now devoid of flowers with the exception of the Sedums and half of a white Lupin flower that's still surprisingly in bloom. Mental note......plants for autumn flowering next year.

Love the rose shot with the raindrops Armandii. :)

Mrs Shiney said she would love some as well :blue thumb:

Ellie Wilmott was a brilliant plantswoman and famous for her new plants and her lovely gardens. The legend/myth about "Miss Wilmotts's Ghost" is that she used to sprinkle the seed wherever she went so she left behind her "Ghost" when she died.

I tried that one last year longk, let me know how you get on with it,I moved mine into the greenhouse for the winter as seem to remember they don't like winter wet still lost the flippin lot, good size plants to,thought they were fairly hardy so don't know what I did wrong  , if you have better luck I might try them again with a few tips from you .
