Loli, you've got your instructions! :blue thumb: Maybe you can get the girls to remind you :heehee: Tell them they'll get less food if they forget.

Haven't seen that mine are in flower yet, but I thought they were actually Red, rather than Dark Pink. Is you photo a bit of a trick of the light / camera, or would you say yours are dark pink rather than red?

(Pretty sure I bought mine as Kodora, but google seems to bring up much the same whichever way I spell it, so I guess they are one and the same :) )

Saxifraga fortune "Cheap confectionary" is doing its thing now. Many more blooms this year but a bit scruffy. Probably been tucked away too much during the summer and possibly overwatered sometimes :

Eventually! I thought that it would just be Lobelia tupa and Salvia glutinosa for a while, but most things got there in the end. Salvia elegans is just about to bloom, at the end of October!

Several of mine have been quite late, Dahlias too. I think the dry period in the Spring was partly to blame - every year when that has happened I've thought "It'll rain soon" and when it doesn't I then start irrigating - which is obviously rather late!. I was reading something the other day about Gingers suggesting to keep them under cover until well into July before planting out to bring-forward their Autumn flowering date.

Is that a good strategy for other things, or is there another plan (such as watering them in a dry Spring)?

I'm glad that last night's storm which swept over southern England passed us by without any ill effects (lots of heavy showers and a bit windy but I didn't think it was more than 20 mph), so most things in the garden are still looking more or less the same as when I took these few photos recently.

Chilean guava - I like its berries, they have a slight flavour of juniper with a touch of strawberry.
