@BeeHappy It isn't readily available anywhere so I lift it, repot it (them) and take cuttings each Spring.
It's one of the plants I brought from work when I retired!!!:hate-shocked::biggrin:

A pennisetum rubrum .......tender variety....I divided in mid summer and potted up (5 pots) is now flowering. The big and pleasant surprise is that on 2 of them the flowers are a really bright red instead of the usual foxy red colour.
Is my dream of a merc convertible about to be realised? :rasp:

      Sorry missed your post Perki
It is salvia uliginosa.....I have a few big clumps of it, it flowers from mid summer and is regularly coveted by visitors here. My old mum used to call it Bunny tails for its white tips on blue flowers :)

Still lots flowering in the pots before they move in to their final position in a new bed. Still some penstemon, cosmos, coreopsis, VBs & Agastache hanging on further down the garden.

A few from my visit to the British Wildlife Centre in Surrey.. the natural animals of our country are highly underrated in beauty: Hedgehogs, badgers, weasels & pine marten here
