              I've been trying to get this species for a while but kept getting fobbed off with less showy ones.
              I think they all flower very late, but not sure, its a day length thing , I think.

                Its only really coming into full bloom now,..it does manage to flower even when we have snow,..though in all honestly,..2010 and 2018 were the last times snowfall remained on the ground,..its a little Clematis but very hardy and long blooming.

                                They were cuttings from my late Mother many years ago.
                                They get no special treatment ,they live outside all Summer in the shade and I probably feed them once or twice ,they do take time to get that big ,this one will need a bigger pot soon.
