    A couple of the new leaves on mine look like that Bob, whatever it is the Frost will kill em off :)

    I was surprised the other day when Sis (Kedi-Gato) pointed out my Abyssinian Gladiolus blooming ....

    I really have hit-and-miss luck with them but they are such a beautiful flower with a lovely delicate scent.

    :) Hi Cutie ... been having a bit of a break from GC with various family members here. :help:

    No, you are not being dumb .... it is a member of the Gladioli family, hence its common name and it apparently originated in Abyssinia. It is an Autumn blooming bulb, not hardy there but something I would recommend you getting. :thumb:

    A word of warning however ..... they can take several years to bloom. :( If you can't find them, let me know and I'll send you some bulbils. :)

    Bob welcome aboard,if you go on the seed swap thread LMRR has some brug seeds if she has run out let me know,you can overwinter them by putting them into hibernation just keep them frost free,I left some in the ground outside last year with cover 75% made it,most the info is on the brug thread any questions ask away.
