          I'm finding the difficult part to be gorowing plants good enough to photograph!

          We had plenty up to 6 weeks ago, but I need to source plants that flower in this season.

          Our Dahlias are good ... Agapanthus have gone over, as have all the herbaceous.

          Jungle/Exotic looks good - encroaching nicely on the paths :)

                Could be, but I think its more that I have a "gap" that I need to selectively plant against. Reminds me of the "Hungry gap" in spring when we have little in the way of fresh veg - all Winter veg done, new season not year got to harvest time".

                I wish people wouldn't shout when I am asleep :heehee:

                  Ah, OK, Toad Lilies .. I have got some of them, by the pond. I need big drifts of things in the large beds though ... and either in Red or Blue / White please :)

                  Two possible contenders;

                  Taipei Silk is tough as old boots, very floriferous, strikingly blue as the flowers emerge and an early bloomer that goes on for a long time.

                  Taiwan Adbane spread rapidly to form a good clump, fully hardy and fairly early too.............

                      No berries or 'owt, just a look down the throat of a Stephanotis bloom..................

                          Yesterday morning, I discovered a spider who has chosen to go for the "Fennel" design in home furnishings this season

                          (who knew they were so particular? :dunno: )

                          And one of my late season raspberries (which hints at having a lodger)

                            Armandii,

                            I have a little problem......your pictures are absolutely wonderful, but I can't see your vertical ones fully on my screen, I have a quarter missing and it's such a shame! :)
