No don't take them horizontally, they won't have the same effect. :) Yes I scroll, but it's not quite the same looking at your pretty flowers as 'Part 1' and 'Part 2'. :heehee: It's probably because I have a 17in. screen on my laptop.

All wonderful pictures :blue thumb: :love30:

We don't have much at this time of year but I'll have to take a stroll round the garden and have a look. Most of our time out there is taken up with cutting back and clearing. I don't think we really look at anything else!

Change browser magnification? Mine does that with Control+Mouse Wheel - just takes a mo. to reduce, and then to change it back again :)

Another route, although not that user friendly, but might work if you came across a vast image, is to RightClick and Open-in-new-Tab (or Window). This will display oversize images shrunk-to-fit, and you can then click on it for full size, and click again for "to fit".

Depends a bit on which browser you are using though.

A couple of plants I bought at Harrogate Autumn Show yesterday.
                  Aster Divaricatus (wood aster)
                  004.JPG
And a new plant that I've never seen before Chelonopsis 'Yagiharana'
                  009.JPG
Both like part shade so are destined for the woodland bed :)

Hanging basket is still looking good Jenny - all of your plants are looking pretty healthy. I'm finding it hard to find anything decent in the garden.

This week I saw my first ladybird of the year

This hydrangea has been in a tub for years and this is the 1st year it hasn't flowered but I love the colour of the foliage.

Cant beat Tricyrtis, once you start growing them, your hooked. Here are a few Pics I took on Sunday.

T.Harlequin, this is very similar to Adbane

T.Latifolia 'Yellow Sunrise', very early flowering, this actually flowered end of June and was done by end of July. Also very susceptable to dry weather.

Hi Sheal, it's a plain and simple Aster still in bud even this late in the year. It's that kind of pic that takes my eye because of all the different textures and shapes that Nature is so good at.:dunno::snork:
