    Hi Sheal,

They look like annual Rudbeckia to me. Are the stems/leaves a bit bristly/hairy?

      Hi Mowgley,

My Bolivianas still haven't flowered :(

Is that an Eccremocarpus in the small pic ? It looks like the ones I used to have but they were red.

Ipomeaea Lobata has come into flower - at least thats what I think it is - I dont remember planting it & its been quietly taking over the pile of pots waiting for cleaning :

I expect I can leave it there to set seed... there are many other pots to clean..

            Hi Nick,
Yeah it is. It's also known as Mina Lobata and the common name is Spanish Flag.

Also known as the Brazilian Fire Vine (we just call it Mina :)).

We planted it in our brand new bed in June and it has climbed its way through everything and just beginning to take over! It has been flowering since mid August and should continue until the frosts. It's a half-hardy annual and should set seed quite easily. Sow in April and don't put outside until June. :blue thumb:

                      Hi Sheal,
Thanks. It's one of my favourite houseplants ( it's a tropical bulb ).
I've got a pot full of bulbs but it only ever throws up 1 flower stem.
I gave some to Longk as it needed splitting so I hope he's got flowers as well.
If you want one let me know in the Spring and I'll send you some.

PS... It is a nice plant all year round as it's evergreen.

Strange that it only puts up one flower stem. Thanks for the offer but I've never been able to keep flowering indoor plants alive, for some reason they just keel over!
