August thread here
We've moved this to pride of place on the patio as it not only looks good but smells good. @pete brought it to Open Day last year It's almost 6' high.
Acteas now starting to flower....this is James Compton, the spikes are scented and lots of spikes to open out Salvia Uliginosa, late this year, is also starting to flower in the background on 8' tall spires
Hackonechloa macra aureola still looking good and sending up flowers now. For sheer "movement" in the garden this is quite unique.....the slightest breeze makes the whole thing move like the surf on the sea. This is 2.5 metres across
The Agastache with the actea is heavenly
Hackonechloa All Gold is now flowering ...the whole plant taking on an orange appearance over the next few days
Thanks Mark. Agastache has been flowering all summer but the actea is pure class from the moment new growth commences in spring.
Good morning my first Gladioli
Anemone hardy fuchsia Roses.
