In a large pot Verndon ,it takes a while for them to get going but when they do it’s worth the wait.
My biggest problem is keeping them out of the wind ,I have managed this year but other years they just get shredded.

It's about time too. After several false starts, my kniphofia mango popsicle has finally woken up.

Also in the "It's about time too" category,

mango should settle down to flowering much earlier and more prolifically next season Gary. Here they flowered from June and still in flower.
Ditto felicia but take cuttings now for free plants next year :)

I think I should have pulled the weeds out of the sempervivum pot before taking that first photo

Things are looking a bit sad around here, but a few things are looking good.
                        A couple of passion flowers.

Lagerstroemia always does its best about now, but the weather can knock it back.
Got a bit of Bougainvillea in the foreground.

Musa basjoo was cut to the ground by the beast from the east in feb, but has made a reasonable comeback, it hated the dry early summer also.
@strongylodon 's albizzia next to it.
