What's looking good in September?

    I havnt got a lot left mainly berrys .but i do have loads of these passion fruits all over the fences..

    And lots of marigolds at least they allways look cheerfull..

    Chrysanths, asters and dahlias looking good and some hardy geraniums still in flower since May. But it is so dry again and many plants are flagging. Will have to postpone the autumn plantings for a while. When will it rain? More rain dancing needed.

    Everything looking pretty sad in my garden. Half eaten honeysuckle and browning leaves. Itching to get my bulbs in!!

    dendy - if you mean the grey picture, no its a black iris which is desperate to be split up - another job on my list for the weekend!

    I do have sisyrinchiums, but the mini one which self seeds everywhere. However you just reminded me I did have a nice varigated one which I lost, would not mind having another go with one "Aunt May" looks good, will look for her at the Harrogate flower show next week.

    must try the black iris - if the flower is half as nice as the leaves....

    STINGO, I left my red baron outside last year, its ok put some fleece on it .
