      The ranunculus bottom right was literally the only one close to the picture on the box. All the others have flowers more similar to Californian poppies and are white. Some haven't flowered, not sure why. Will dig them up and give them a go next year, probably all in one pot together.

        Buddleia Buzz Red - not dwarf as advertised ... and not red either!

        Lilium White Heaven - later than my other lilies, which is handy.

        IMG_4301_Lilium_manissa.jpg
        Lilium manissa - one of the so called Giant lillies, been in that spot for 5 years or so now.

            @Kristen

            Maybe that's considered dwarf! It looks a lot smaller than the ones I usually see.

            Now, the 'red' bit..... :scratch:

            You are right! I only remember the blurb, which says "Growing full-length flowers on a dwarf-sized plant, it will attract butterflies by the dozen as well as busy pollinators like bumble bees."

            but then it says "A hardy perennial, it will flower from June through to October and grows to 1.2m (4')." so not THAT dwarf then! Typical T&M Marketting Babble. Here's their marketting picture:

            not that red either!

              I suppose 4' is dwarf compared to the usual 15' - 20' :), but that picture definitely gives the impression of only being 2' - 3' high (unless the pot is 2' tall) :heehee:

                            Very easy to get seeds to germinate Spruce. I'm gathering some now . The other ones in the front, raised triangular bed are just about to bloom and, hopefully, will look good amongst the dwarf bedding dahlias. Pinning my hopes on a rather good show there soon,
