If you want one @ARMANDII my friend has some in stock, £10, can get to 10 - 12 feet hard prune in spring.

Thanks Ian:love30:, but I know I can get it from Arley Hall Nursery [one of my favourite Plant Nurseries] as I saw it there only a few weeks ago. The real problem is where to put it!!!:dunno::heehee:

You can always squeeze in one more clematis, they don't take up all that much room:)

I'm not so sure of that, Ian, as I've just topped the 112 mark:doh::dunno: with one more in a pot to plant!!
The Trellis Entrance has got 23 Clematis on the West side and 25 on the East side, plus there are Clematis on either side of the Arbour, several in the Lilacs, Acers, in the Jasmine Hedge by the pond, and others mingling with the Climbing roses.:heehee:

If you only had four it would be an extra 25%. As you have 112 it is less than an extra 1%!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm slowly catching up has I've got about 70 at the moment, my wife thinks I need help has when we go out I always end up buying a clematis.
I've got a few rare ones, c alternata, c confusa, c connata, c chiisanensis 'Love Child',
c 'Vince Denny, c heracleifolia 'China Purple'
You know your going to buy one @ARMANDII

Not sure Posty would agree - it's becoming an assault course almost! Think I'll have to leave the machete by the garden gate in about another week

They grow it in the zero maintenance bed at Oxford Botanic Gardens - a right prickly thing!
