Even if Mrs S is six feet tall they're tiddlers IMO

 

On the north side of our house, the view from one of our kitchen windows mostly consists of the wall of our neighbour's house a few feet away.

It's a sheltered, shady spot which only sees the sun for an hour or so at each end of the day, so I've brightened up the view with a couple of pots containing a Fuchsia 'Mrs Popple' and an Athyrium fern.

Then they're about average!!!

All joking aside (and @Zigs old fishing ruler put back in the draw) this plant will be GREAT this year! I've just counted 21 flower spikes on it, possibly a dozen or so smaller ones to come. The trick (IMO) is to remember that it's not like the other perennial Lobelia - it grows in a fairly arid climate in its natural habitat so it prefers to be on the drier side. I give it a good drench as it starts to wilt.
