    Has anyone got Knautia?? I had it in the borders for a few years now and it's a great Hardy Perennial which the Bees really love.

      Yup, No idea where it came from, I suspect I bought a packet of seed somewhere along the way ...

          That's cute Armandii - is it the same family as the Scabious? Looks as if it's good for attracting the bees and butterflies.

            Yes. I think of them as looking like Astrantia, but that's a different family ...

                Indeed. Ignore @ARMANDII prattling on about the Scabious family - they were probably his next door neighbours and he went to school with their kids, but he clearly didn't do very well in Latin when he was there :)

                          The reed mace are just coming out in the wildlife pond too.. Along with the Joe-Pye weed and the yellow loosestrife..
