@Nigel2 Arisarum proboscidium. Wonderful plant but ours are only just in leaf, no signs of flowers yet. Haven't noticed this plant elsewhere for a long time. And then you have fritillaries in full flower! Ours are just starting to show buds. Great photos.

 

Always lovely when the Epimediums start flowering. This year's first is Epimedium x warleyense 'Orangekonigin'

Thank you @Michael Hewett but that’s the only part of the garden I’ve managed to work on this year with all the rain we’ve had!! Won’t be showing the rest of it for a good while!!

 

Thank you @fairygirl I must be very dense, I've had a laptop since 2010 and I've never thought to minimise anything. Sometimes the picture goes small and I just click on the little squares top right to make it bigger. Never thought about making it smaller to drag anything. I'm going to give it a go and see if it works, though not a lot is looking good just yet. Handyman, CB, mowed all the daffodils much too soon last year when I was away so they are mostly blind this year. I was furious, I'd asked him not too, I'd planted 350.

How infuriating @Busy-Lizzie. I hope they come back ok - they should do. A bit of a feed might help even without them having any foliage to help.

The laptop's easier to work with, especially if you have an editor on it for your photos. I've got a problem with my pix just now, because most of mine are on an expansion pack for adding on this laptop. I had to replace the old one last year, and this one just doesn't have the capacity for them all. The expansion pack is only showing some of the pix, and very few of the ones I want to transfer for here! I've asked daughter to help, and hopefully she'll do it today as she's off work.

You posted at the same time as me there - hurrah!
