Have some beautiful Hellebores blooming now, and many of my 400 Thousand blubs up and blooming, Lovely to see the drifts of blue carpeting my front lawn and the bright yellow daffs in layering effects in the slopping garden. Or the little white blooms around the driveway light post at the end of the driveway. My Star Magnolias are in bloom flanking both sides of the house.

Our garden is tiny, but wildlife friendly as possible. These are: the bit by the bowl pond, where there's hardly any soil, and random plants often appear. The toadflax has lots of pink flowers, the heather is coexisting with a large dandelion I couldn't pull. The Dicentra seems to have grown a foot overnight.
And everyone's favourite, the goat willow is blooming! I really need to plant the trees out soon! 20240323_140731.jpg 20240323_140721.jpg 20240323_140741.jpg 20240323_140948.jpg

Tulips, chaenomeles, brunnera, euphorbia… It’s been a lovely sunny day here, especially after lunch.

I'm jealous of your fritillaries, @pitter-patter, something's eating my blooms! I only have three!

Something's looking very healthy in my shady border, but for the life of me I can't remember what I put in there last year! It's encroaching on the camassias though, so I don't know which to move, lol, I'll post a photo up tomorrow so you lovely lot can put me out my misery!

Everything is so much further forward in those photos than they are here ! Fritillaries are a week or two away from flowering. One or two of my larger botanical tulips [in borders] started to appear properly over the weekend. No magnolias in flower yet, but that's pretty normal for this time of year. I always enjoy seeing them when they appear. Too early for aubretias although my arabis has some buds now, so it won't be too long. Even the alpina clem Constance still hasn't opened properly, but that shoul dhappen in a few days.
I lifted some camassias last year @Mrs. B. I'll have to see where I can put them, which may be difficult ;)

Your plant is likely to be something that likes damp shade if it's in beside camassias. A photo will certainly help.

Everything's gearing up to go in this border. Daffodils waiting in anticipation for the tree fern to unfurl, plus tulips and grasses advancing, at last! Some more shots of daffodils around the garden, Thalia, unknown and Jetfire.
