      Love everyone photos!!

I should have got photos as it was a gorgeous day today, but I didn't..
The grape hyacinths are starting to flower in the sunny patch - I dig them up every year and throw them at any patch of soil, where they take root and grow even under a shady bush, so they all bloom at different times.
Tulips are about to pop. Daffs are still looking good. I put English bluebells in last year, they're about 2" tall now, I can't wait!
The strawberry I planted in a fairly shady border last year, threw off a runner into the shade - that flowered in December(!) and is budding again!
Cherry tree has just started to break leaf.
      Hoorayyy spring (and random flowering!!)

I love fritillaries and I’m always happy to see them return in the spring.

@pitter-patter Do you have much trouble with lily beetles? I bought a tub of fritillaries years ago but those damned things showed up so I didn't bother again. I was thinking of buying some bulbs for next spring but I can't be doing with those red devils.

@Februarysgirl I don’t have lots of lily beetles, though last year I have started growing lilies, so I might be attracting some more. Hopefully not so early in the season, though.

I’m really enjoying all the garden pics. I love the fritillaries @pitter-patter , I came across some here a couple of days ago and took a photo but don’t know how to post it as I use an iPad

edit to say that I think I managed to work it out..
