This is looking good-ish. The solar-powered water feature has given up the ghost so it’s now an improvised plant stand

I was thinking that, especially the 4 standing together in lovely varied shades of purple. Beautiful, @Plantminded.

 

I posted earlier on this thread that I had planted a mix bag of Blue themed bulbs, couldn't remember what number 4 was (after muscari, anemone and allium) and was hoping for a nice surprise.

I am not disappointed.

 

Star of Persia, i.e. allium christophii - it's the first time I have grown this and I do think it is stunning!

Rose 'Flower Carpet White' has also just started flowering - I am very fond of this rose, a sturdy specimen which grows well in very poor soil (basically a rubble bank) and usually keeps flowering right up to Christmas:

Some views around the garden today. I like a lot of green! Most of the colour and flowers will be from summer perennials in a few weeks' time.

 

Good job you are not red/green colour blind.

 

Love it. As you know, most of my garden is evergreen, except for my Hibiscus and Brugmansia invasions ... and Bougainvilla, Oleander, Tecoma and Tecomaria visitations.

 

I've got gooseberries! They're actually tiny, this is an extreme close up, but they're my first ever. The bush was a 30p rescue from the supermarket the year before last, and the first year it wasn't happy where I planted it and barely grew. So last autumn I moved it, and it's really taken off.
