Reineckea carnea. Relative of Lily of the Valley from Japan lives in woodland and spreads by rhizomes. Doesn't flower every year with me.

Thanks @NigelJ - I love the foliage, but when I get one I think I'll get one of its hybrid offspring that has a good perfume - can't remember which do...
