@Perki If I remember I take a few cuttings of S confertifolia, root and overwinter in a cold greenhouse. This year because of the dry weather there was very little growth until October, if the weather stays relatively mild I might take a few when I start the chilli seed off as they will require heat now. Otherwise it's fingers crossed time, I lost it in spring 2018 and earlier around 2011.
Buddleja glomerata has been planted outside since May 2018, the RHS has it as hardy to -5°C, but Trees and Shrubs Online has may be hardy down to -10°C with good drainage, Buddleja glomerata - Trees and Shrubs Online this has been updated in the past 18 months. I find the RHS to be on the cautious side with hardiness.
Further down in that bed I have Buddleja loricata, also silver leaved and from South Africa, but from a higher altidude and hardier.

My Plectranthus Mona lavender is budding up really well this year.
It spent the summer in a pot plunged in the ground in shade, was hardly watered and looked rubbish, I'll post some pics hopefully when it gets more flowers out.

Mine didn't enjoy the summer either. Not what you'd expect from a South African plant really!
Having said that all my plants were rather neglected this summer (due to family circumstances) and I've lost more through neglect over the summer than I have over the last two winters.

In some ways its acting as a fair few S. African plants do, we often forget that some of their plants flower in the short days and go dormant in summer.
Similar with lots of Mediterranean plants that go summer dormant, our soggy summers usually mimic their spring or autumn growing periods but when we get a proper summer they go back to how they should grow.

How many of you have seen Daffodils flowering this week in your towns? What, in November? I hear you say! Well there is a park close to where I live that DOES have Daffs in flower - in the ground! What proof? Have a look at these photos I took this morning:

Even in the gardens of the church I attend there are a few that were about to open a few days ago! I planted these at least 6 years ago but it is the first time they have flowered in November!

Today one flower has opened on the daffodils at the back of Trinity Free Church building! I took a look back at other years where I have photos of these plants & I've found photos going all the way back to 2020!

Our friends who live locally always have Daffs in bloom throughout December, it must be down to the position/ shelter of their garden I suppose.

They remind me of narcissus paperwhites that grow earlier than the daffodils.

I thought that they must be a specific early variety as I was under the impression most need a cold period before flowering.

I often grow Paperwhites in the house @Balc but haven't got any this year. They usually flower around Christmas time. November is early for them, but it's nice to see something that isn't actually dying in November. They look lovely
