My budleja is looking rather limp. Is this how it's supposed to be or can I revitalise it? Should I be dead heading it?

Now I have seen Budleja growing out of gutters and factory chimneys , never seen a limp one
They are a seriously tough plant . Can't imagine what the problem is there Jack.

@Jack Sparrow Some Buddleia varieties have an especially cascading growth pattern so what variety is it? .. then google will give the answer and, Yes remove all the brown heads they are going to seed so will slow, or stop the plant from flowering :) BTW if you pop those seed heads in a paper bag- then when fully dried out - shake them where you want and you may get some new plants for free  Providing it's not a sterile variety- sometimes the newer varieties are to prevent too many self-seedlings ;)

Mrs Shiney managed to keep the baby mouse alive for a few days only. She fed it with a pipette and it was taking some nutrient but we think it was too far gone when we found it and too young to survive on its own.

Budlea's like good drainage, best way to kill one is over watering, just a thought.

A local Allotment Society ran a very good show this weekend with many excellent exhibits. Unfortunately the organisers were so busy that they didn't spot an error by the judge before the 'Best in Show' was awarded.

This display of Dahlias won the award!

The flowers were already going over and the leaves were diseased (we all get that but remove the damaged leaves before exhibiting).

Worse than that, the flowers were covered in bugs! :yikes:

Mrs Shiney apologises but she was rather annoyed about the judge's decision and meant to say they were crysanths and the Dahlias should have won.  :heehee: Not her Dahlias as she didn't enter any
