    Gas light control levers/chains?...No
    Torch basket? ..No
    Oil lamp? ..No
    Straw burner? ..No

    Ok. the clues so far

    Clue three...It was being used before street lighting was in installed
    Clue two...its function is no longer required.
    Clue one is.. Let there be light.

    Gaslight ...No
    tilley lamp ...No

    OK another clue
    Clue 4... Can still be found and in use today but in a much smaller style.
    Clue 3...It was being used before street lighting was in installed
    Clue 2...its function is no longer required.
