If it's a listed building they'll have to restore the clock tower

 

That would be a nice job for a skilled Joiner!

Funny you should say that Dendy! I did replace the glass clock faces on the Town hall tower in Moreton in Marsh :D

 

Yeah, well, I'm suprised its not fell through the roof years ago, god knows whats held it up through all these years of neglect.
It must be well supported underneath.

Don't know Weston-super-mare well enough to comment, but it sure looks like a bardwalk to a very far-distant sea!! Reminds me of Southport - the sea's a long way out there..... :D

 

Its Greatstone near Dungeness,
its one of those pictures that has very little in it but somehow I thought it looked good.


Its a bit deceptive as that is the total length of the boardwalk, but it appears to go on.

 

Dungeness is one of the strangest places in Britain. Fascinating.

 

Pete, now i've seen the larger picture it looks unique. dont like the small one gives me nightmares :D

I agree Hornbeam, as you drive across the shingle past the RSPB reserve its like entering another country, its so unlike Britain.
The dogs just itching to get in the sea, and I was messing about taking photos. :D
