I love autumn, because of the colours..red, gold, brown, bronze, yellow....

Not just because I'm in the autumn of my life! It's always been my favourite season.

For me it has to be Winter, Spring and Autumn.

I love all the seasons really, but my slight least favourite is summer and that's only when it's really hot. I live on a heavy clay-based soil and even though I have 10 big water butts I always run out of stored water in a hot summer and have to take it from the mains.
Recent summers have been great because everything has grown so BIG!!

Autumn The gathering of all the goodies you have spent the last months caring for, the pickles, preserves, Lovely apples.Oh I could go on,
Summer is usually to hot for me makes me droopy ! and is very hard work to keep even a little garden watered.

I like Spring, for the excitement of the coming year, but I also find Autumn very interesting, with the colours, and the collecting of all the fruits of a hard seasons work.
