It's a good job our cat Milie only brings in mice not voles as the mice have long tails and thats how I pick them up. Oh I forgot to say she doesn't kill them just brings them in! thats why I have to catch them chasing them all round the living room, hall, porch..... yep, good to have a long tail. [IMG]

As reptiles and amphibians are the animals I like most here's one for Marge (found at Cragside House on holiday). I think they are great especially for the garden, this one's a beauty, couldn't possibly give you nightmares. [IMG]

I can pretty much cope with everything the garden has to throw at me with the exception of when something touches my face.

Yesterday I walked into a spider web  I was quick sharp into the shower following that. The spider was probably having a cup of tea in the bush the web was attached to and having a right good laugh at me trying to scratch my face off and rid my hair of the web.

I don't mind most things - but I was on holiday quite a long time ago in The Gambia, and saw a monitor lizard (about four foot long) disappear into the bushes. I followed it to get a better look - but then I chickened out. I decided a four foot long lizard was a bit scarry.
