It started grey this morning and then deteriorated by noon with rain. It's just stopped but there's no sign of the sky clearing. :frown: 15C/59F.

A fair bit of sunshine today and some heavy duty clouds at times, but it stayed dry and let me work in the garden. :) 17C/63F

Mostly cloudy morning, brightened up PM.
23C mid afternoon, but by no means summer.

By no means summer @pete? 23C would be a good temperature for summer here. :)

What I mean by that is, it would be nice to have a day start the same as it finished, and I dont mean miserable all day.
Just a sunny start and a sunny finish, we cant even get one whole day.

I get what you mean now, it would be nice to have a complete summer's day. Forecasts are unreliable and it's so annoying when I need to use electric hedge trimmers and the like, not knowing whether to start a long job in case of rain.

A day much like yesterday with partially blue skies and varying amounts of cloud and a warm day with the temperature around 64f. I was hoping for clear skies tonight but there is still plenty of cloud around so star gazing will be difficult tonight unless the skies clear dramatically:dunno::doh:. Right now the temperature is 52f and the pressure reading is 1026mbs.:coffee::snork:

@pete That's the trouble with not being near Shineyland :heehee:. We've had lots of sunny days :blue thumb:. Not many of them have topped your 23C but they've certainly been sunny all day. Mainly clear skies at night with the temperature dropping to around 48F (9C) and rising to the mid 50's (12C - 13C) by 10 a.m. With the temperature rising quite well through the afternoon and evening and the sun staying up late, Mrs Shiney has been able to work in the garden until 9 or 10 p.m. most evenings.

The down side to all this is that the bugs have been biting .

I've had to have the sprinkler on the veg plots, and shall have to keep an eye on the flower beds as the forecast for the next 10 days is dry.

WOW! We have a warm sunny day in Eltham. In fact, it's not just warm, it's hot. Just what was needed at last.

Well, not bad today, a bit warmer without the nagging wind blowing.
Sunny spells after a sunny start, 23C again.

Dont know what it is, it just doesn't feel like summer, think its because its not really settled.

This morning on the forecast they said a possible 27C over the weekend, tonight they said 19C and rain.
Its just unreliable and not my idea of summer.

Another sunny, white fluffy day, temperature 23 deg.

Sorry @pete , you can have our weather if you want it, it's getting a bit boring now. The only thing that's changing is the temperature and that's only varying by sa degree or so day to day. Could really do with some rain now, looks like it's going to be another two watering cans at a time day tomorrow.
