Yesterday was a very pleasant one. The Saturday night/Sunday morning temperature didn't drop below 58.9F/15C and rose to a mild, bright but overcast, 64.6F/18C by 10 a.m. when we went for our walk in the forest. In the afternoon we worked in the garden in a sunny 73.6F/23C. Just the temperature that I like. :blue thumb:

I had trouble reading that but not translating it @fat controller. :)

It's been mostly sunny here again but a chilly breeze had dropped the temperature to 16C/61F. At the moment the rest of the week is looking dry according to the local forecast but the jet stream is telling me otherwise. We'll have to wait and see.

The trick is to say it to yourself in your head as you are reading it, and you will amaze yourself with your fluent Scottish accent. You're only a few degrees colder than us - we topped out at 19ยบ here today, albeit humid

Yep, it worked better with silent reading but I don't think I'll ever gain a Scottish accent, not without Essex undertones anyway .....correction London undertones, the Essex accent is similar to that of the south/west.

            19C isn't bad considering you've had rain too. :)

On this side of the Border the skies were cloud covered with the odd patch of blue and the temperature hovered around 63f, but it didn't rain. Right now the temperature is 52f and the pressure reading is 1028mbs.:coffee::snorky:

Yet another normal day here, 20 deg sunny with fluffy whites.

We're into anther dry spell , no rain since last Thursday and none predicted for the next week at least. The only difference being the temps, altering by a degree or so up or down each day.

@fat controller Nope, didn't work very well :dunno:. My Scottish accent in my head is awful and I didn't understand most of it . It was much more understandable using just my eyes.

So I've now got this picture of you in my mind

We've had a mild night with the temperature not dropping below 61.3F/16.3C. It's still hovering around that temperature and the sky is very overcast with not a hint of a breeze.

A translation for our Sassenach audience... ;)

It started out not bad, but before long it became grey and dreary, rained moderately heavy for a few hours, then the wind changed - by the time I got home, I was a bit chilly so had to put the heating on for a short time. Yes, autumn is on its way - it won't be long until we have to wear our slippers about the house.

Another sunny day and blue sky but there's definitely a nip in the breeze now, 16C/61F. I don't think we're far off the first overnight frosts here either, down to 9C tonight.

Yesterday was a warm and sunny day and the temperature didn't drop below 53F/11.7C. By 7 a.m. it had risen a couple of degrees but actually felt a lot warmer when I was wandering around the garden.

There's no breeze, a soft mist and the sun is up there somewhere giving a gentle glow to the air. It's going to be a lovely day :blue thumb:
