What's your weather - 2016

Looks like we're in for a cold snap next week with widespread frost throughout the country although the MO are trying to firm up the forecast and are being cautious at the moment. The sun is out here and there's a patchy blue sky. It makes a change to have some sunshine 2 days in a row. It's currently 7.8C

 

sun came out for a while this morning but it continued raining

Then the rain stopped and it came over cloudy.

Now looks like the end of the world, damp, wet , miserable, not very warm, but its stopped raining.
Cant wait till it gets dark.
Then I wont have to look at it anymore.

 

Today is up to 2c - 36f - we're looking at overnight lows well below freezing for the next 90 days...
But the sun is beaming - I even picked up some moisturizer with SPF in it - how is that for optimism?

 

Sunny till late afternoon, great for a long walk in the forest, almost felt warm in the sun.

 

A few hours of sunshine have been welcome, it seems so out of place having been used to the gloom of the last two months, 9C/48F.

It looks like we'll get some decent weather for a good part of next week and then winter is probably going to arrive the following week, the wind will be heading round to the north. Hopefully my roses will finally drop their leaves for a period of dormancy and give me the chance to prune them while they're naked next month.

 

Whether I like it or not, the weather has been weathering away without me being able, in the least, to do anything about it whether I wanted to or not.

At least we don't have ice - I am wary of icy conditions. And, we don't have a heat wave - now *that* really would be freak weather for this time of year!! (where's the "phew!" smiley when you need him; huh?)

Back to lousy weather after some sunshine yesterday. It's blowing a gale and chucking it down.
