Lovely sunny days here at the moment but super cold - this week and the coming one is the coldest period of winter for us.

Sunshine and snow showers!! Last weekend we had about 12-14cm of snow, but then it rained for a couple of days so disappeared pretty quickly. It snowed really big flakes for about five minutes just before, and now the sun is shining!

snowed about 2 inches yesterday. now all gone . warming up some to about 38 degrees.

 

Frost this morning followed by beautiful sunshine. Lunchtime a quick burst of rain but the sky has stayed grey and the temperature isn't all that (sorry, don't have a thermometer, but my knees are cold and that's how I know).

 

Sunshine and cloud today but dry, we should be getting a repeat of this tomorrow. 6C/43F

I've read today that both forecasters and the papers are promising a month of snow from Easter, across Britain. We'll see!

 

I hope that does not apply to this country...

Having said that, that month might have started early. Its been snowing heavily here since this morning, and looks to continue. The temperature is 2C.

 

It's been cold but sunny, except for a 10 minute hail storm!

 

It is 1c/34f and sunny. I've moved many of my seedlings out to the greenhouse to enjoy some good sunlight. We're closing in on 12 hrs of daylight

 

Nearly half past six and still light outside !
We are getting there , plus any government lacky who dares to announce a hose pipe ban this year.....
