What's your weather - 2016

There's a very high, very thin cloud layer today which is muting the sunshine a tiny bit. It's still bright and warm though, so no complaints here!

 

Just seen a BBC weather report and it looks like there will be a widespread frost this Saturday morning. Cover your tender bits and bobs up folks!

 

It's been a lovely day here, 23oC this afternoon, tonight it's very humid.

 

I planted out cucumbers and things too early... Hope they can survive the coming two nights

 

A bright and, later, sunny day forecast, that's why it has been raining for the last hour and now thunder!
Edit - it has now turned into a cloudburst and the road is like a river.

 

Byebye Mr Sun, it's clouded over and dropped a few degrees in East-Central Scotland. :(

 

Lots of sunshine and some of that high hazy cloud. It's a bit breezy but warm

 

There is a dark cloud hanging over my garden today......wish there flaming had been as the "brilliant" clear skies overnight have produced a humdinger of a frost here. I had a fair idea last night that there was going to be trouble. The stuff in the unheated greenhouse should be ok and I brought into the house all my Sungold Toms and Sweet Corn last night. The damage to my herbaceous borders is extensive, likewise some of my Rhododendron and Azaleas will be ruined. Hey ho this has been a very tricky year so far weatherwise. The extremely unusual heavy fall of snow at the end of April and now this later than normal frost. Hope the rest of you have faired better but as the saying goes "worse things have happened at sea".

 

There's lots of lovely sunshine and not a cloud in the sky. It's chilly in the breeze though.
