We had something that resembled rain early this morning, a quick shower that barely made the ground wet. :doh:It's been humid most of the day with hazy sunshine although the temperature has dropped by a couple of degrees. The garden desperately needs rain, the lawns are starting to turn brown, but checking the Jet Stream it could stay dry up here in the north-west for the rest of the month. 23C/73F

I hope everyone in the south isn't suffering to much with the bad weather, take care all! :grphg:

We had a dry spell that ended with rain on sunday night and last night. And seems to be only at night :). Collecting lots of water.

Temps are very moderate. Daytime low to mid 70f and nights a comfortable sleep with windows open around the 60f mark. Well, comfortable for people who don't have a cold like the one I managed to get!

Lots of sun coming with the same temps too!!!

image.jpeg Our thunderstorms kept on all evening right up to bedtime and we had a lot of rain also.Even had two snails walking up the window glass in the lounge and managed to chuck one of them into the road to get squashed by the cars:snorky:

As it is so wet we are going to have an easier day today and give the allotment a miss as we have plenty of other things to do at home:biggrin:

We're just stuck in a time warp here ( I feel either @shiney or @ARMANDII coming in with a song here Lol ).

25 deg and that big blasted yellow thing in the sky won't go away.

                Any rain ...... No chance.

I think I'm gonna move to Iceland ( and I don't mean the shop either. Mind you I did linger a little longer in there than usual today :)

I wonder if you can get arrested for loitering with intent to cool down neat the frozen chicken :roflol:

We had a cracker of a storm last night, torrential rain and a good light show, and it did seem to cool things down a bit. The lower part of the front garden turned into a pool, and a few of the surrounding roads were still underwater this morning. By mid morning, the horrible humidity was back again and it is as sticky as ever again. A couple of showers earlier and a couple of rumbles of thunder, but nothing notable.

I woke to mist this morning and that drifted in and out off the sea until mid afternoon. It also caused a delay to the start of the T.T. racing which didn't get under way until lunch time. Strangely my village was the only place on the island that was shrouded, perhaps Manannan felt we needed protecting. :) A humid day until the mist cleared, then back to full sunshine. 23C/73F

Foggy this morning, hot and sunny by the afternoon. Getting foggy again this evening. In bed in the caravan watching the mist creep across the sea and onto the fields
