Snowing hard here in southwest Kent. Left to visit my Mother in Law this evening, who lives 5 miles away, and in the 3/4 hour I was gone, it had snowed so much that I couldn't get the car back up the drive when I returned home. It'll have to stay there until the morning I'm afraid.:(

We had another 6 inches overnight and the snowman I made yesterday has dissapeared under a new blanket.. I was about to say our road is impassable, but just as I was typing this a Parcelforce lorry arrived with a new PC monitor for my son, even so I'm staying at home for another unscheduled holiday - the police are advising not to venture out on the roads unless its an emergency.

So you have parcel delivery men out too Woo! They must be a hardy bunch. This is the trouble of being stuck at home, can't go out and do any gardening so I'm spending too much time on the internet ordering stuff for home delivery :hehe:

Is that your snow plough in the first picture, Woo? :hehe: We're all stuck at home so we've decided to get done up like Nanook of the North and go for a walk to take some pretty pictures. We're going outside ... we may be some time ...

Good afternoon. For the 1st time in ages it ISN'T snowing...well for now anyway. We now have over 2ft but the sun is shinning. The Tree is a Golden Yew which hasn't broken under the weight yet. Afraid there is quite a lot of damage which I know about and some I probably won't discover until about April of next year! that's how long I think it will take to melt this lot. However, still got food and power so could be a great deal worse.
