Keep warm Silu... but I must say it looks nice. I would love to get up in the North York Moors for a photo session but I`m afraid it would be a stupid thing to do.

You can have some of ours Marley, I'll parcel some up - 1st or 2nd class?

I'm going to have to get back to work tomorrow, I don't have enough day's holiday left to keep staying at home :( So I'll be throwing myself at the mercy of South West Trains first thing - I'll go prepared, hot flask, scarf, gloves and plenty of emergency rations (aka sweets:D )

You must get your gutter fixed Dave!:hehe: This is the view down the drive this morning. Had to leave the car at the bottom as after being out for 3/4 hour on Tuesday evening, I came back and it had snowed so hard I couldn't get back up again. Despite being promised a grey day the sun has been shining but it is still very cold. Brr!

    .
What a morning here in Quedgeley!

Sun blazing from the sky, not a drop of snow, first time for days both heaters in the greenhouse are OFF!

    Long may it continue!

The ground is brick hard though!

    BUT, what about tonight?

    Cheers!

We had our house re-roofed a couple of years back. As it is a Victorian house which originally had a slate roof, we decided to use those looky-likey fake slates (the real thing would have cost a fortune) rather than ridged concrete tiles. They're very slippery and shiny, with the result that every so often an avalanche shoots off the roof and into the front garden. I'm just wondering how long it'll be before we're completely buried ...

Hi JWK. I have 3ft icicles all along the front guttering of the house.
My wife said "they will look very Christmassy when the Christmas tree and the lights go up "
i think that was a hint for me to get the finger out:D.
    music .
