Crikey Penny! Compared to you, our snow was nothing more than a light dusting. Is that amount normal for you then?

    Hi Music

Can you pinch a snow plough and get yourself to Sainsburys? My OH says the Grouse is on special offer. Extra special deal, apparently. :)

Where i'm at we don't get that much snow. But, around Feb.- March we get that "black ice"....those are very dangerous to drive on since you could not tell until it is too late when your car is already sliding off the road.

Too true, I hit a patch on my motor bike years ago, the bike just dissapeared from under me & I slid across the road into the path of a lorry, who couldn't stop either.

Just as I had resigned my self to certain death, the bike caught up with me & shoved me off the road.

Hi Penny - we have similar pictures from my siste-in-law in London, Ont. from time to time. Canada seems to be far more capable at shifting the snow than we are - we are sadly less predictable with our weather.
One thing which amuses me is that they dig the snow off their drive and along comes a plough and puts it back!
Trust you can get out and about...........

The snow has mostly gone overnight, hooray! Just some piles of ice and slush around, I'm going to dash outside and get the christmas lights up before the snow returns.
