Hooray! Let's hope the forecasters have got it wrong about the next bout of snow. After all, in the summer they're always promising us heatwaves which fail to materialise. :D

Its wicked here today......there are roads closed, schools closed, and we have Ontario's largest Ski Resort, and its closed today.

You know its bad when a ski resort closes!!!

And its cold, with the wind chill!!

    Sounds just like home Penny.
But people here seem to think in other countries the powers that be just magic it all away and there is never a problem.
It's got nothing to do with extreme weather - it's all about incompetent councils.
I'm greatful to our local council workers who have been out 24 /7 in atrocious weather doing all they can do.

    See what you mean Penny.

Sorry, you wouldn't get the reference over there. Our old British Rail used to use the excuse if the trains wern't running, wrong type of leaves/rain/snow on the tracks.

More snow today, only an inch but enough to bring Guildford to a stand-still again. Took an hour to drive the last mile home. God only knows what would happen if we ever got real snow like you Penny!
