    I'm thinking we have been lucky here up to now just one night down to minus 5 but since then only slight frost.
    Not going much above plus 2 during the day though.

    Morning everyone, we have woken up to light rain this morning and no frost for the 1st time in yonks!

    The snow has started to melt and the for cast for tomorrow night is heavy rain 2c so by Wednesday we sould be snow free!!!!! yaaayyy:yho:

    Here in Northants thawing fast and much milder ..going to check how the greenhouses are looking .

    Here in a usually sunny Quedgeley, but not a peep today , we have had a fresh westerly wind from last night which has started a thaw.

    At about 21.00 hours the rain came belting down and now half an hour later miraculouly the snow has gone after what seems weeks1

    Long may it continue!

    Well the snow has nearly all gone now, only snowmen and giant snowballs remain.

    Its so nice to be able to go out without worring about slipping on your ass.:yho:

    What a difference a day makes. Snow gone, warm outside. 38C on the roof & the solar pump just kicked in.

    Well the snow has gone thank goodness and it is much warmer 6 deg today but foggy and drizzle on and off. Much better.

    Started off dreich foggy and still foggy but started to snow again at 1.30pm and still snowing.

    42c in the solar panel today, still a glimmer of daylight at 5pm.

    Well, the rain seems to have damaged some of my bulbs, i.e. they were waterlogged and rotted.....but by and large the garden hasn't suffered too much through the snow and then the rain!!! :thumbsup:
