We had a violent thunderstorm here yesterday evening but it only lasted about twenty minutes.

My family were out on a night on the town, just heading into the local casino on foot and there was this almighty crash of thunder, which scared the living daylights out of me. Never moved so quick in my life. My home has been struck by lightening three times in the past, so I think I'm entitled to panic!

Hi everyone , The wind here in the north east is going to be the big feature today, It's already howling and they reckon it could reach speeds of 80 mph later on today, Iv'e just been in the garden and put more lashing around the plastic greenhouse and my potatoes in the planters are getting blown all over the shop, I hope they don't get snapped :cry3:,

Salford - Grey clouds & just started spitting, which will probably lead to some heavy showers.

Woo, we did a trip to Burmarsh in the Romney Marshes yesterday. It's generally windy there, but yesterday we gave up trying to have a cup of tea outside after a large sun parasol got launched into space. I returned with a very interesting hair-do.

I have been out this morning and have just got back home to find all the neigbours empty dustbins either on the road or lying on the edge of the curb so I have been picking them up and wheeling them back to where they came from:D

The wind here is worse than yesterday but it is a mild 62.2f out there and like Woo our greens are all lying down at the moment, but then again Mr Kandy only planted them out on Saturday:heehee:

No rain here yet though.:cry3:I expect it is waiting for the kids to break up for half term and then the heavens will open:D
