    Been raining here since the morning, which is good as I laid turf last week at my sister's and I doubt she's bothered watering it..

    Well it eventually stopped raining just as it was going dark...

    Had a quick look in the garden and you could almost hear the plants letting out a sigh of relief..:happydance:

    Also relocated a few dozen snails :gaagh:, the only downside to the much needed rain.

    It was very mild last night here too, 12-13 degrees about the lowest it got...:thumb:

    :yay: Hallelujah....That was the first proper rain since February,the first time the water butts have filled since then.

    Don't mind the rain has the ground could do with it but once it starts it forgets to stop. Oh well that will keep the hosepipe bans at bay. Just wish it would warm up a bit and less of the wind would be nice.

    Lovely down in Dorset now, we so needed that rain. Got quite a few 45 degree onions now though.

    Ok, it can stop now! It's been heaving it down with rain all day today and still is now at 11.50pm. My own fault I suppose, I was out in the garden with the hosepipe yesterday. :DOH:

    Bristol... raining again! I think summer was the easter holidays and now we're in that strange rainy season which lasts till winter! :heehee:

    Here In Central Scotland, This is the worst weather for the gardens we have had in a very long time:mad:. We Have had a great April :thumbsup:.We have had the worst May,That i can remember/ Rain/Rain/Rain And more Rain. :help:. June ,Very Similar to May. the only things that are looking Great are the Lawns,( Lush Green):thumbsup:. .

    Well the media have been hyping the return of summer this weekend and so far not a hint!! :loll:

    According to the weather forecast we're due 27 and sun today in Bristol but right now its grey and drizzling! :)

    Yesterday afternoon it hit 75.4F after the rain having stopped about 8 a.m.. I've just come in from pottering in the garden and it is already 63F but no sun.
