In order to transform a paddock to a lawn do I need to kill all the grass before hard landscaping. I will be moving earth around with a mini digger, then rotovating followed be rolling and seeding. Well I think that's the right order! Any advice. Can I work/rotovate live grass?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I have an e-friend in Alaska - want me to ask her? :hehe:

Seriously, I am totally fed up with this. Haven't been out of the house since 28/12/09 and that was just a quick visit.

WHEN is it all going to end?

    Hang on in there Penny!
Daisees I think it will be a while yet :(

It started snowing thickly today but then stopped so once again here in Norfolk we are doing OK. Had to thaw out the birdbath and replenish all the feeders -poor birds.

We've still eight inches of snow in the garden, the road outside has compacted snow, but the main roads and the A56 are completely clear though there's still a bit of slush about in places.
