Millie's been out snoozing under a sunny shrub since 6-ish and Maddy went back to bed with me :heehee:

They're now both avoiding the hosepipe which i'm moving around the back garden :WINK1:

From mid-afternoon today we've had several thunderstorms passing over, each one more intense and accompanied with heavier rain; great to watch and the garden is well and truly watered now :thumb:

Had torrential rain today, with quite big thunderstorms over this whole week. Today, whilst shopping in Sainsbury's the storm managed to have an affect on the electricity supply and the emergency lighting came on. I got home and our electrics went off. It is such a long time since i've known us have storms like this, as frequent anyway.

The outdoor thermometer reads 16.5 degrees but it certainly doesn't feel like it, i've been working outside and i'm really chilly now.
Low clouds everywhere despite the forecast saying high cloud, then sun late afternoon.

Everyone thinks im strange because i love thunder storms but i always have, we have had very little rain here recently and could really do with a lovely big storm to water the garden and clear the air.

Now I'm back from 3 days of glorious weather camping on the Pembrokeshire coast I can agree with you, as it hasn't rained back home either.

You are not alone, I love thunderstorms I find them very energising! Besides they do clear often muggy air and make everything fresh.

It's been beautiful here all week. 24 degrees today. We're promised heavy rain (the garden needs it, the lawns are brown) and high winds all weekend.

Thunderstorms never bothered me years ago, but in recent years my home has been struck three times by lightening and that's very scary.

We've had a lot of rain in the night but it's drying up now, 18 degrees currently though - so another warm one :D

It was lovely here up until Sunday when it just got toooooo warm and 'sticky'; yesterday was horrible, mostly cloudy but incredibly humid. It's going to be the same for the next few days even with a little rain forecast - not for me, roll on Friday when its supposed to return to around 19-20 degrees instead of 25-26...

Currently 19 degrees here already (at 6.45am) :phew:
