The sun has just gone down but the wind hasn't. It's still mainly blue sky with some white fluffy bits. (over to you, ziggy)

It's another lovely day but the warmth's gone from the sun now, hasn't it :(

The winds are still here though and they're wild, i live on an exposed hillside, no shelter from the south westerlies and it's scary-windy today again :( :help:
Remember that old Ted Moult advert, for Everest windows ..... the noise of the wind howling outside the window and him dropping a single feather infront and not a breath moved that feather ?

Well here is like that howling wind !

After a very still night and a sunny, warm day it is now windy again - but in the low 70's. We need rain.

We had half an hour of rain yesterday that managed to wet the surface of the garden but it is now a brilliantly sunny morning.

It was lovely and sunny today-we sat on the cliffs at West Runton with inlaws, had a picnic and just saw the last bit of the red arrows display. Amazing!

It's been lovely here in Derbyshire today, but we're meant to have heavy rain tomorrow - typical as it's one of the busiest days at work :wallbang:

We can't remember the last time we had rain here. The ground is all cracked and the plants are unhappy. On the up side, the grass only needs cutting once a week instead of twice.

We had three minutes of drizzle yesterday evening and they promise some rain today but I'll believe it when I see it.

Hi Shiney - I cannot complain too much in the sense that we get rain from time to time as well as sun, but it did not feel like summer so far, in the sense that there was not a stretch of sunny days long enough to call it that.
In spite of it, I have a gigantic tomato plant with 26 fruits, but that is probably due to the fact that it is growing close to the wall and is getting a more constant heat and possibly more water than all the rest, knowing the tomatoes...
