Well it's been raining all day (so far) here !!!, it was raining when I got up at 5am and it still raining :D (12.30pm), been nice steady moderate rain too alonng with quite mild temperatures, so the plants are going to be loving it :thumb:

The rain butts are brim full and I've also filled 4 watering cans, several buckets and a large plastic bin, may as well collect as much as possible for the ineveitable next dry period

After being pretty dry for a while we have had a fair bit of rain in the last couple of days.
Just when you DONT want it, this end of the summer is usually the ripening time I always think.
Most things, apples, onions all kinds are slowing down growth wise and it would be nice to get one of those dry warm, not hot, long autumns we sometimes get.

Buckets of rain now is too late, and produces veg that wont store, split toms, and rotten apples.

Not to mention its bloody miserable and cold.

Been quite chilly here for a few days. Gray and gloomy too. I have had my hot water bottle on the go almost constantly. Good weather to snuggled up with the cat and nap!

Winter is officially upon us. The cat keeps going to the fire and demanding that we turn it on.

Lit a fire in the dining room fireplace yesterday. I think I heard something about it being the coldest summer for 20 years on the TV this morning (when I went back to bed because it was so flippin cold).

Very warm and sunny (bordering on being HOT), no wind so that makes it feel even warmer.....

Unbelievable that it changes so quick; 15 degrees 2 days ago and now 25 degrees!! :phew:
